"I believe that three fundamental helices are responsible for accelerating the development of a country or a region: entrepreneurship, leadership and education. All these three helices were severely damaged during the communist years in most of the Eastern European countries, and in some, like Romania for instance, more than in others. Therefore they need to be strengthened and then accelerated properly in order to unleash the growth potential of the region. This is what we try to do with Triple Helix: design and implement projects placed at the intersection of these helices, in order to accelerate them and through this to contribute to accelerating growth in our part of the world."
